To comply with local regulations, veterinary products and pet foods exported to Chile are subject to an approvals process, which can be lengthy. A fast-track mechanism for certain countries that meet certain requirements would make it easier for UK exporters looking to enter the market. An Export Health Certificate for Export beverages containing poultry-derived hydrolysate for feeding to pet animals to Chile has been available since 12 October 2020.
