Imported poultry products into Brazil must come from countries whose sanitary inspection system has been recognised as equivalent to Brazil's. Currently the UK's sanitary inspection is not recognised, though Defra have provided information to MAPA (Brazil's Ministry for Agriculture) which is currently under review.
