For animal products from overseas to be exported to Brazil, the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) requires that these products come from businesses that it permits. The process, by which MAPA updates this list of import-allowed business, requires technical discussions between both countries’ authorities before an update into the pre-listed premises is performed.
