Regulation of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia No.77/2019 prohibits the import of finished textile products e.g. carpets. General importers (API-U) can only import semi-finished/materials or unfinished products at the request of Small to Mid-Sized businesses that are registered with the Ministry of Industry, which can provide added value on the imported products.
