Alcohol sales through online platforms banned in Indonesia

Regulation 8/2020 concerning supervision of medicines and foods circulated online, issued by BPOM (Indonesia’s National Agency of Drug and Food Control), bans the sale of alcohol through online platforms.
The sale of certain drugs, traditional medicine, supplements, cosmetics and processed food are allowed under the regulation, so long as this is done in accordance with the existing regulation.
