In Belarus, a contract needs to be issued and registered in a bank, for any export deals exceeding 3,000 Euro. A Belarusian company doing business with an overseas payment, cannot issue invoice payments without this kind of registered contract. These requirements are aimed at preventing fraudulent transactions in Belarus but place additional administrative responsibility on exporters.
